The Cabin
Tired of the city noise? Come enjoy a quite relaxing getaway! Moss Mountain Retreat is located just 1.3 miles off Hwy 7 on Gum Springs Road 7 miles south of Jasper, Arkansas. The cabin, which sits on 5 acres completely fenced in, has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, plus additional queen mattresses, couches, and a recliner that can be used. The cabin can sleep up to 6 adults, and has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, a woodburning fireplace, and more. Enjoy a hot beverage while sitting on the back porch listening to the sound of nature and watching the sunrise over the mountains.

Bring your four wheeler or side by side and enjoy miles of dirt roads. Minutes away from hiking trails, swimming and the Buffalo River. Enjoy our friendly people, shops and restaurants (Cliff House, Ozark Cafe, Low Gap Cafe, and Pizza).

Hikers, sightseers, bird watchers, photographers, bikers, horseback riders, and canoeists enjoy the remarkable beauty and serenity our unspoiled natural areas offer. Also close to Branson, Eureka Springs, Bull Shoals Lake, Table Rock Lake, and others.

Rates for up to 6 guests
$250.00 for a one night rental (275.00 with tax)
$15.00 per night for each additional person
$25.00 pet fee per pet per stay. Maximum 2 pets.
10% tax.
We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa, as well as cash. We don’t accept checks. A 3% processing fee will be added to your card when making a reservation.
We do require a deposit of $100 per night when you make your reservation. ($110.00 a night with tax). The deposit is nonrefundable, but movable if you should need to cancel your reservation. The deposit has to be used within the year the reservation was made (if the reservation was made in 2026 the deposit has to be used in 2026). Once the year expires the deposit expires. If you cancel the day of your reservation or you are a no show you lose your deposit.

Pet fees are a one-time charge of $25.00 per pet, per stay.
Check-in begins at 2 pm, and check out is by 11:00 am.
Cabin is nonsmoking. Smoking is permitted on the front and back porch, but not in the cabin.
No outside fires except on blackstone griddle for cooking purposes only. Cabin does not have firepits.
We have a leave as you found it policy. Before checking out, please put any trash you may have in the trash can and wash any dishes you use. We come in and do everything else.
If any property of the cabin is damaged or missing, the cost of repairing or replacing the item(s) will be charged to your credit card.
If planning to arrive after 7:00 pm, please let us know when making your reservation.
